Blackwood Exposed

A post on a well-known Satanic networking site, by an ONA member, has exposed GM Blackwood for what he really is. Here is a quote from the post -

Does the following sound like Blubbermouth?

1. The person exaggerates talents, capacity and achievements in an unrealistic way.

2. The person believes in her/his invulnerability or does not recognise his/her limitations.

3. The person has grandiose fantasies.

4. The person believes that he/she does not need other people.

5. The person regards himself/herself as unique or special when compared to other people.

6. The person regards himself/herself as generally superior to other people.

7. The person behaves self-centeredly and/or self-referentially.

8. The person appears or behaves in a boastful or pretentious way.

Yep. I think it does – and it’s the criteria for a specific psychiatric disorder…..”

This specific psychiatric disorder is narcissistic personality disorder, as outlined in the following scholarly article: Gunderson J, Ronningstam E, Bodkin, A - The diagnostic interview for narcissistic patients. Archives of General Psychiatry, 47, 676-680 (1990)

Given this diagnosis of Blackwood’s personality disorder, we – out of the kindness of our hearts – suggest that he urgently seek medical help, for his condition is, we understand, quite treatable.

Meanwhile, let us – very briefly – here compare some of actions and words of Blackwood with the above criteria.

1. The person exaggerates talents, capacity and achievements in an unrealistic way.

Blackwood claims to be a Grand Magister (a title he awarded to himself) and claims to have written original Occult material which is superior to that written by everyone else, but when asked for such material he says “it’s private”.

Blackwood claimed he “would easily drown a person who decided actually debate me…” and that he “always wins debates”, and yet when challenged to actually debate – on-line, off-line, live on a talk show – he runs away and just repeat his grandiloquent mantra that since those asking for a debate “are sheep”, there is no point in him debating ‘cos he would win anyway, LOL!

Blackwood claimed that – since he has such a brilliant mind – he could and would destroy Myatt’s scholarly philosophy of The Numinous Way, but when asked to do so, he felt silent, then changed the subject.
Blackwood claims he has written – or is still writing – a great book which will revolutionize satanism, but when asked to publish this, or some excerpts, he never does.

He claims to have “exposed” the ONA, WSA352, Myatt – et al – and yet all of these are just semi-literate rants, devoid of logical argument.

2. The person believes in her/his invulnerability or does not recognise his/her limitations.

He claims to have conducted “extensive research” in all manner of subjects, and yet his semi-literate articles merely contain cut ‘n pastes from Wikipedia or other Internet sources, which are often run together with his own rants (sans correct punctuation and spacing) about the subject, making most of his articles unreadable.

He does not recognize that he does not possess the skills, the intellectual ability, the intelligence, to do real research in a scholarly manner.

For instance, he recently claimed that “after long investigative work I will soon reveal new information that will dissolve the theory that Lucifer and Satan are connected…” – and yet his published article consisted of cut ‘n pastes from Wikipedia and other Internet sources, run together with his semi-literate rants.

In a narcissistic attempt to cover up his failure, he has now started inventing meetings with un-named scholars who obligingly provide him with information (and which information can easily be found via the Internet). For example – “I consulted a scholar at the library of the Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati….”

3. The person has grandiose fantasies.

Blackwood claims that he is “the one to take on the world…” and that Satan himself has given him a “mission” to rid the world of “sheep”.

Blackwood claims that he runs an organization with thousands of members, world-wide, and that he can send these members out to physically attack his opponents – yet not one of these alleged members ever writes anything in support of Blackwood, and the few attempts there have been to defend Blackwood turn out to Blackwood’s sock-puppets who write in the same semi-literate way and in the same style as Blackwood himself.

He has the grandiose fantasy that a letter he claimed to have from Myatt would expose both Myatt and the ONA once and for all (and show Blackwood was right) and yet when asked – for over a year – to publish this alleged letter, he failed to do so.

Blackwood had the grandiose fantasy that he was “leader of the ONA” – and had re-founded the ONA – but when challenged by some ONA members to answer some esoteric questions that any genuine ONA Adept would know the answer to, he couldn’t answer a single question.

4. The person believes that he/she does not need other people.

Blackwood has claimed for years that everyone except him is “a fake” and that only he represents “genuine satanism” – and that he alone has the ability needed to be “the leader”.

When his grandiose fantasy of being the leader of the ONA was exposed, he immediately claimed that “he didn’t need anyone…”

5. The person regards himself/herself as unique or special when compared to other people.

He claims to have been “chosen by Satan” to lead legions against the enemies of Satan and to establish a new Satanic kingdom.

He claims he is “the leader of theistic satanism” and awards himself the titles Grand Magister and “reverend”.

6. The person regards himself/herself as generally superior to other people.

Blackwood recently wrote, on a reply on a Satanic networking site – that he “is more important than you…”

7. The person behaves self-centeredly and/or self-referentially.
In nearly every single article or post of his for the past ten years, Blackwood has written about himself in glowing terms.

8. The person appears or behaves in a boastful or pretentious way.

In nearly every single article or post of his, he boasts about his abilities, his knowledge, his skills, his income, his relationships with women, blah blah blah

Enough said, methinks. Although I’ll wager a few other Occultists will soon start playing this new “Get Blackwood” game and add their own examples to the above, taken from the words and deeds of Blockwood himself.
